Served blind at the Southwold 2009 tasting. Another impressive showing from the perennially good value d'Angludet. The '09 boasts one of the most alluring aromatics in the flight of blind Margaux wines with fragrant dried violet and dark plum aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with firm, gently gripping tannins, whilst the finish shows fine finesse and persistency in the mouth. This is impressive. Tasted January 2013.
