Robert Parker
Tasted: 01/01/2009
Drink: 2013 - 2022

The nose is reticent at first, light redcurrant and raspberry intermixed with limestone and granite aromas. Well defined but less vigour than I expected. The palate is very feminine, silky tannins, lovely red-berried fruit intermingled with orange rind and mango, raspberry and strawberry towards the refined finish. Moderate length, but dare I say this Grand Cru does not quite have the same thrilling degree of complexity and breeding of the Malconsorts? Drink 2013-2022. Tasted January 2009.
