This is already showing some maturity on the rim. The nose is a little diffuse, a little liquorice and roasted herbs; fig and a touch of dark chocolate developing. But it lacks overall vigour and exuberance. There is a slight bitterness on the palate, sweet red fruits bit lacking harmony and depth. Lacks breeding on the finish. Moderate length.
