Tasted: 01/10/2014
Drink: 2015 - 2025

Tasted blind at the Burgundy 2011 horizontal tasting in Beaune. The Gevrey-Chambertin Petite Chapelle 2011 has a slightly grassy bouquet with light red cherry and bergamot scents. The palate is angular with noticeable acidity on the entry, adorned with tart cherry fruit and a terse finish that gains length in the glass. This is an understated Gevrey-Chambertin, but pretty and feminine.
