Made of 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot and the rest Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, the deep garnet colored 2010 Poujeaux features notions of sweaty leather, baked plums and creme de cassis with hints of sauteed herbs and tobacco. Medium-bodied, the palate is a little lean and chewy, with an herbal lift on the finish.
