Robert Parker
Tasted: 01/08/2007
Drink:

A deep black/purple hue. A very rich opulent nose with excessive new oak that smudges some black plum, cassis and chocolate notes. Noticeable warmth of alcohol coming through. The palate is full-bodied, tannic with sweet core of plumy black fruit with a touch of blueberry leading to a decadent, dare I say vulgar, ostentatious finish with the personality of a toilet-brush. Tasted August 2007.
