Tasted ex-chateau and single blind in Southwold. I am a massive fan of this miniscule Saint Emilion, but something seemed to go awry in 2008. Here, the bottle has a reduced nose, pinched with animally, slightly bretty notes developing with aeration. There is a green, cabbage like streak straight down the middle. Tasted January 2012.
