Tasted at J&B's Spanish tasting in London. Another very seductive nose from the excellent Ribero producer: ripe black plums, cherries, creme de menthe, fig and dates all with superb definition. The palate is fleshy and rounded, beautifully balanced with touches of white pepper sprinkled over the voluptuous black cherry and cassis fruit. Yet it never pushes it too far, the oak succinctly integrated, the poise just there. Succinct and beautifully crafted. Drink 2013-2025. Tasted September 2009.
