The 2014 Pommard 1er Cru les Pezerolles is completely destemmed. It has plenty of blackberry and wild strawberry fruit on the nose, pure and more opulent than the Volnays. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp acidity. There is good volume in the mouth with firm, slightly chalky tannin. It just stops a little abruptly on the finish, but it should fill out during the remainder of its élevage.
