Drink: 2020 - 2038

The 2014 Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru les Cras has a little more transparency and delineation on the nose compared to the Chambolle Charmes -- black cherries, cassis, bay leaf and cold, wet limestone. The palate is medium-bodied with a gentle grip in the mouth, much more saline than the Chambolle Charmes with a piquant, lively finish. This is another very fine Chambolle from the domaine, but one that deserves several years in bottle.
