The 2015 Gevrey-Chambertin "Cuvee Coeur de Roy" contains 70-80% whole bunch fruit with 70% new oak. It has a fresh and vibrant bouquet with quite energetic red and black fruit, good mineralite and tension. The palate is fresh on the entry with firm tannin, more black fruit here coming through with good tension, structured and masculine compared to other growers' village cru towards the dense finish.
