Robert Parker
Tasted: 01/07/2011
Drink:

Tasted at the Bollinger RD vertical in Paris. There is something regal about the nose: very well defined and complex with just a hint of wild mushroom, more Girolles than Chanterelles with subtle notes of nectarine, stone fruit, marmalade and a touch of lightly burnt toast. The palate is just superb with citrus lemon, Clementine, minerals, crisp lime and a hint of marmalade. It is very harmonious and focused, long and persistency towards the shimmering finish. Spectacular: an RD in fine fettle! Tasted July 2011.
