Model 24 ha property run on biodynamic lines since 1990. There are 16 ha of red grapes planted and just 1ha of Roussanne and Bourboulenc, which adds a refreshing grip to the white Châteauneuf. The main purpose of the viticultural approach is to optimise the fruit quality of the late-ripening Grenache and Mourvèdre in particular. There can be no question about the results. Vieilles Vignes has for a decade been one of the benchmark wines of the appellation: very ageworthy and extraordinarily complex. A fine Lirac red is also made, which blends Grenache with Syrah and Mourvèdre.
