The 2015 Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes offers a slightly more complex fruit profile over the regular Chambolle, black and red mixed together, blackberry, raspberry coulis, hints of marmalade and orange rind. There's more going on here and the aromatics are more involving. The palate is medium-bodied with a sorbet-fresh opening, lively and tensile with vivid red cherries and blackberry towards the energetic finish. This year, there would seem to be quite a gap between the older and younger vines. This is excellent.
