Profile
This château, with its small tower, is located close to the church in the village of Pomerol. Acquired in 1917 by Mrs. Loubat, the proprietor of Petrus, the vineyard passed to her niece, Mrs. Lacoste, who after 40 years donated it to the Fondation de Foyers de Charité de Châteauneuf de Galaure in 2002. Jean-Pierre Moueix has managed the property since 1962.
The entire estate was replanted after the 1956 frost. Fermentation is in concrete tanks and the wine is aged in 33% new oak barrels.
