Tasting notes

Robert Parker
Tasted: 01/10/2013
Drink: 2013-2016

The 2011 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru delivers butterscotch and wax resin scents on the nose that needs more focus and precision, especially for a grand cru. The palate is better with a smooth opening and fresh pear and peach skin notes, a dab of nougat just in the background. But it needs more tension and complexity on what is, at the end of the day, a rather predictable finish. Drink 2016+
