Jean-Pierre and Thierry are now running their father’s property of some 24 ha. The white Châteauneuf is sound but it is the reds which excel. They also make a Côtes du Rhône red, a Lirac red and a fruit driven red Vin de France which is mainly Merlot. The range includes very good regular red Châteauneuf as well as the super-dense and rich old-vine Mon Aïeul and an exceptional Réserve des Deux-Frères, a very expensive special bottling that combines very old Grenache with Syrah. It is available in very small quantities. Even rarer is Not for You, aged for 36 months, it is a single barrel of very old Grenache.
