Miles Davis joined Wine Owners earlier this year to manage Professional Portfolio Management (PPM), a new service offered by Wine Owners.

The overriding ambition for Wine Owners PPM is to deliver consistent capital appreciation through an outstanding collection of investment grade wines.

For newcomers to the wine market Wine Owners will build a portfolio or collection. For those with an existing collection they provide a structured approach to portfolio management designed to complement existing primary market allocations and holdings.

Miles brings a wealth of experience to Wine Owners, has a great track record and is well established in the industry. He founded FCA authorised Wine Asset Managers (WAM) LLP in 2005 and managed two wine investment funds until their closure early in 2017. At the peak, WAM managed nearly £25 million of assets. Later in 2017 he helped Wine Owners with a capital raise and became a shareholder at that time. Like most wine collectors, his journey started with Bordeaux (30 years ago!) before moving on to Burgundy and Champagne and then further afield. Before wine he had a successful twenty year career as a stockbroker in London and Hong Kong.
